Digital files only

Knarb Makes sells downloadable design files. No printed part, printer, material or hardware is shipped. Each product page lists the included files, dimensions and known limitations. Prices are in USD; any applicable tax and the final amount appear in checkout.

Personal-use license

All kits are licensed for personal, non-commercial builds only. Selling prints or sharing or reselling the digital files is not included. You may adapt the files for your personal builds, but may not redistribute or sublicense original or modified files. Copyright remains with the designer.

These terms apply to new downloads. Earlier purchases retain the permissions granted with their original license.

Delivery and access

Earlier itch.io purchases remain available through itch.io and do not automatically appear in Knarb Makes’s My files. These delivery instructions apply to purchases completed directly through Knarb Makes.

Downloads become available in My files after Knarb Makes verifies your payment. Guest purchases stay accessible in the original browser; save a private recovery code from My files to restore access on another device. You can optionally connect Google or create an email account after purchasing to access those files on another device. If a payment is still processing, use Check payment in your library. Download and keep your own backup; perpetual hosting is not promised.

Keep your recovery code private. Anyone with it can restore your guest library. Creating a new code invalidates the old code, but does not sign out browsers that already restored access. If both the browser session and recovery code are lost, contact support with proof of purchase. Automatic recovery emails are not currently available.

Connecting an account requires access to the original guest browser or a valid recovery code. Matching an email address alone does not transfer purchases. Account sign-in uses Firebase Authentication; email accounts require email verification. Account sessions last up to five days, while guest access can remain available longer in the same browser.

Prototype editions

Products marked prototype have the specific limitations stated on their product pages. Printer, material, scaling and slicer choices affect the result. Inspect dimensions and test a small print before committing to a larger build. Machine-specific G-code is not included.

Purchase help and refunds

If a file is missing, corrupted, duplicated in a purchase, or materially different from its description, contact Knarb Makes with your order number. We will review the issue and arrange a corrected file or an appropriate refund. A refunded or disputed payment may pause download access. These policies do not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your information

We measure optional store visits with a random identifier kept in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes. A separate first-party cookie, __Host-augurn-browser, lasts up to 90 days and lets us count repeat browsers across tabs and visits. We store a hash of that random browser identifier, not your IP address. It is not used to sign you in or identify a person. We record public page paths, product views, gallery and build-video clicks, free-download requests, cart actions, and whether that session led to a verified purchase. We do not send names, email addresses, file contents, full referring URLs or browser fingerprints to this measurement system. We also record only the hostname of the referring site to distinguish search traffic, referrals and direct visits; we do not collect search terms or the referring page’s path or query. Known operator and test accounts, marked test orders and identifiable bots are excluded from marketing reports. Exclusion records contain a browser hash, not an email address. Optional browser and session measurement respects Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and the preference below. Turning measurement off deletes the browser cookie and tab identifier and stops future optional events; previously collected records are not erased by this switch. Hosting providers may separately retain request logs to operate the service. Campaign attribution attached to a purchase is recorded separately.

When you follow a video-specific Knarb Makes link, we record the campaign, product and time of the visit. A random link identifier connects that visit to a later cart or purchase for up to 30 days. We also count clicks to external purchase pages; these are not proof of a completed sale. These records contain no browser fingerprint or IP address. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels are used.

Knarb Makes uses an essential, secure cookie for guest cart and download access, with up to a one-year lifetime. Only a hash of the guest credential is stored in the database. If you choose to sign in, the cookie also carries a verified account session. Google provides hosting, file storage and optional account authentication. Knarb Makes stores your buyer identifier and checkout email, saved cart, order details, payment references, accepted license version, and support requests to operate the store. Stripe processes payment information on its hosted checkout. Knarb Makes does not store card numbers. Contact Knarb Makes to request access to or deletion of account information; transaction records may need to be retained.

The contact form stores your email and message privately and emails them to Knarb Makes through Google’s email service so we can respond. Your contact email is not added to a marketing list. Request identifiers and limited rate-limit records help prevent duplicate messages and abuse.
